What Does Toilet Repair & Installation Include?
Toilet repair covers all mechanical failures of the toilet assembly — tank, bowl, fill mechanism, flapper, handle, supply line, shut-off valve, wax ring, flange, and bolt set.
Running toilet repair — a toilet that runs continuously wastes 25–50 gallons of water per day and adds significantly to water bills. The most common cause is a worn flapper or misadjusted float — a $150–$250 repair that pays for itself within weeks.
Wax ring replacement is required when a toilet rocks, leaks at the base, or has sewage smell despite a clean toilet. The wax seal between the toilet and floor flange must be replaced. This typically takes 60–90 minutes.
Fill valve and flush valve replacement addresses inconsistent flushing, constant running, and phantom flushes. We carry universal replacement fill valves that fit virtually all GTA toilet brands.
Cracked tank or bowl replacement — hairline cracks in the porcelain require full unit replacement. We carry standard residential units for same-day swap.
Full toilet installation covers removing the old unit (including disposal), replacing the wax ring, installing the new toilet, connecting the supply line, and testing. This is the most common toilet service for bathroom renovation projects.
Toilet relocation requires drain rough-in modification — a more complex project requiring a building permit in Toronto.

Signs You Need Toilet Repair
Call for toilet service if you notice:
- Toilet running continuously or cycling on and off without being flushed
- Water pooling at the base of the toilet (failed wax ring or cracked bowl)
- Toilet requiring multiple flushes to clear waste
- Rocking or unstable toilet (wax ring failure)
- Visible cracks in the tank or bowl
- Sewage smell from the toilet area despite clean surfaces
- Slow fill after flushing — taking more than 3 minutes to refill
- Toilet handle that must be held down for a full flush
How Our Toilet Service Process Works
Step 1 — Diagnosis. We inspect the complete toilet assembly and identify the specific fault. Most toilet problems are diagnosed in 10–15 minutes.
Step 2 — Estimate. A flat-rate written estimate is provided for the required work. You decide before any work begins.
Step 3 — Repair or replacement. Parts are carried on our service vans. For full toilet replacement, we bring the new unit, remove and dispose of the old toilet, replace the wax ring, and install the new toilet.
Step 4 — Test. We flush 10 times to confirm proper fill, flush performance, and no base leakage before leaving.
Toilet Service Areas
Toilet repair and installation is available across all 22 GTA service areas. Contact us at (437) 290-0902 or visit the services hub for all service options. Toilet repair is typically part of a broader plumbing visit — if you have other minor issues while the plumber is on site, they can be assessed at the same time.
